Green Valleys Associationis a non-profit watershed organization located in northern Chester County, Pa, in the Delaware River Basin. Founded in 1964, GVA’s mission is to protect the lands and waters of northern Chester County, to educate the community on environmental issues, and to advocate environmental guidelines intended to preserve the watersheds of our region. GVA oversees 155 square miles of all five of Chester County’s northern and eastern Schuylkill River watersheds.

We strongly recommend that wet grass clippings be left on the lawn where the clippings will quickly biodegrade and add nutrient value to your lawn.
